You don’t have to be a seasoned swimmer to enjoy El Nido. You’ll be given a life jacket so you can go snorkeling or swimming in deep water and join the other tourists wherever the boat stops.

Tour B and D are the most suitable options if you have fear of deep water or aren’t a good swimmer. You can do these tours without swimming and just enjoy the beaches.

You would have to swim a lot if you choose Tour A or Tour C, especially when going to the hidden lagoon, secret and hidden beach. Sometime even expert swimmers may find difficult to get inside the Secret Beach where you need to swim underwater through a narrow rock tunnel with strong currents.

The ETDF stands for Eco-Tourism Development Fund and is designed to help to limit the impact of tourism and protect the marine environment of El Nido.

A 200-pesos ETDF fee per person is required for visiting the islands of Bacuit Bay and it’s valid for 10 days.
