Best time to go

The best time to visit the Palawan is the dry season from October to May however it is possible to do this tour all year round.

Port Barton’s peak season starts in November and ends nearly on May. It is within these months that tourists and locals are encouraged to visit the place since Port Barton becomes really lively during the peak season with all its fun activities and the merriments during the evening.

  1. Day 1: Arrive Puerto Princesa - Firefly

    Meet at Puerto Princesa and transfer to your hotel.
    Late afternoon depart by boat for Firefly Watching Experience. In the mangrove coastal forest you may be able to feast your eyes with the glimmering lights from the fireflies that have become the main attraction in the place. Like Christmas lights filing up the darkness of the night. After the cruise, proceed to a local restaurant for dinner. Transfer to your hotel after dinner.

  2. Day 2: Bacungan Falls - Nagtabon Beach

    Travel for about 1 hour to Barangay Bacungan where the trekking begins. Enjoy a nice walk on a relatively flat to rolling terrain that leads you to Bacungan Waterfalls.  Take a dip in the natural pool hidden within the forest or relax in the peaceful environment,
    After the waterfalls continue to the nearby Nagtabon Beach. Spend the rest day enjoying the beautiful deserted beach, swimming and exploring the surroundings.

  3. Day 3: Underground River

    Travel north to Sabang for about 2hrs. Upon arrival proceed to the registration area at the wharf and wait for your assigned boat.
    When it’s your turn take a short boat ride to the entrance  of the Underground River National Park. Then hop on a park-operated canoe equipped with a search light, and wind your way down the Underground River. During the 1.5 kilometer cruise you will see stunning formations of stalactites and stalagmites.
    Hike back along the Monkey Trail to Sabang beach and after lunch at a local restaurant, explore the mangrove forests by paddleboat. Transfer to the hotel in Sabang for check-in into your room. The rest of the day is free at leisure.

  4. Day 4: Sabang - Port Barton

    Check-out before 12.00pm, then transfer to Port Barton for about 3.5hrs.
    Port Barton is a hidden gem with great beaches, coral reefs and pristine islands.
    Port Barton is a rural beach destination very popular among backpackers and conscious travellers, who appreciate the quaint and relaxed atmosphere that this beachside village, on the edge of the rainforest, has to offer.
    Most of the hotels are located on the main beach. they all offer basic amenities and genuine hospitality.

  5. Day 5: Port Barton Island Hopping

    Meet at your hotel and depart for a full-day Port Barton Island Tour with Private Boat. Set sail to Port Barton Bay, a dream destination dotted with gorgeous islands. The boat will stop at Twin Reef, Fantastic Reef, Exotic Island, Maxima Island, Turtle Watching Spot, and Starfish Island Sandbar.
    The uninhabited islands off the coast of Port Barton are perfect for viewing beautiful underwater scenery, while the pristine beaches are just waiting for sun worshipers.

  6. Day 6: Port Barton - El Nido

    Morning at leisure. 12.00pm check out and transfer to El Nido for about 4.5hrs.
    En route optional stop at the historic Taytay Spanish Fort (entrance fee not included). Arrive in El Nido and check into your hotel.

  7. Day 7: El Nido Tour A

    Meet the guide at the hotel and transfer to the boat departure point.
    Discover El Nido’s most beautiful natural landmarks on this popular full-day boat trip. Visit multiple islands and beaches including the stunning Miniloc Island’s Big Lagoon, Secret Lagoon, Shimizu Island and 7 Commandos Beach.
    Snorkel among tropical fish, soak up the sun on the beach, or explore the lagoon by kayak. Head back to El Nido town around mid-afternoon and transfer to your hotel.

  8. Day 8: El Nido Tour D

    Spend another day exploring Bacuit Bay.
    Discover the sea life and coral reefs around Cadalo Island on a full-day boat trip from El Nido. Sail to Small Lagoon and Cadlao Lagoon and swim in the emerald waters surrounded by towering limestone. Proceed to some of the lesser known beaches such as Pasandigan Beach, Nat Nat Beach, Bucal Island, and Paradise Beach.
    Head back to El Nido town around mid-afternoon and transfer to your hotel.

  9. Day 9: Nacpan Beach - Depart El Nido

    Meet at the hotel and travel on a rural road for about 45 minutes until reaching the beach. Nacpan Beach is a four-kilometer-long unspoiled stretch of powdery golden sand and pristine azure waters.
    Here you can swim in crystal clear waters and laze under palm trees or walk to Twin Beach on the southwest tip, where Nacpan meets with the smaller Calitang Beach.
    Lunch at a local restaurant and transfer to El Nido airport for your flight to your next destination.
