This tour combines the whale shark watching in Oslob and Sumilon Sandbar renowned for its white sand beach and crystal clear water.
In the morning around 4.00am, you will be picked up from your hotel in Cebu or Mactan and driven for 3 hours south, bound for Oslob where you will have the opportunity to see whale sharks up close and personal.
Upon arrival proceed for a quick briefing and registration at Tan-awan, then set off in search of the whale sharks. When we locate them, you can enter in the water and swim with them for a limited time of 30 minutes. To be underwater with these enormous, gentle creature is one of the ultimate bucket-list experiences.
Return to the mainland and board another boat to Sumilon sandbar. Enjoy leisure time in Sumilon.
Proceed to Tumalog Falls, which is one of the most beautiful falls in Cebu and perfect place for a cool and refreshing dip.
After lunch head back to Cebu. Arrive in Cebu around 4:00pm.
Best time to travel
Preferably go there weekdays when there’s not much crowd.

Pick up at 4.00am
4.00am: Pick-up from your hotel Cebu (within Cebu city or Mactan), proceed to 3-hour drive to Oslob
7.00am: Estimated arrival in Oslob. Meet local guide. Briefing and registration at Tan-awan
7.15am: Board the boat and set off in search of the whale sharks
7.45am: Return to the mainland
8.00am: Head to Tumalog Falls and then board another boat to Sumilon sandbar
4.00pm Estimated arrival time in Cebu
Whale shark interaction is limited for 30-minutes only.

- Keep noise to a minimum and don’t splash in the water.
- Stay at least 4 meters away from the sharks
- Do not chase whale sharks or block their path
- Avoid excessive flash photography when photographing whale sharks
