All about the El Nido Tour A.

Island hopping is the best way to explore some of the islands scattered in El Nido’s Bacuit Bay.

El Nido Tour A is the most popular island hopping in El Nido, visiting the stunning Big Lagoon, 7 Commandos Beach, Secret Lagoon and Shimizu Island.

Miniloc Island is one of the most popular islands in Bacuit Bay, El Nido. The main attractions of Miniloc Island are the Big Lagoon, Small Lagoon and Secret Lagoon, three of the most photographed sights in all of Palawan. The Small Lagoon is part of El Nido Tour D.

The Big Lagoon, one of the most famous and photographed sites in Bacuit Bay, offers a stunning backdrop with the tropical forest in the background and a crystal clear lagoon surrounded by limestone cliffs.

It is called Secret Lagoon because at high tide the entrance to the lagoon is hidden. At low tide, you can swim through a tiny crack on the rock wall to get inside. You will be rewarded with a beautiful lagoon with emerald green water surrounded by high limestone walls.

7 Commandos Beach has a beautiful white beach with very fine sand and crystal clear water, ideal for swimming and snorkelling. There is a small beach bar that serves cocktails, beer and fresh juices and has a pleasant atmosphere. It is definitely one of the must-see beaches in El Nido.

Shimizu Island is an excellent place for snorkelling and is home to a large number of colourful fish. The island has a beautiful stretch of beach with crystal clear waters and white sand.

You do not have to be an experienced swimmer to enjoy El Nido. You will be given a life jacket so you can snorkel or swim in the deep water and join the other tourists wherever the boat stops.

Tours B and D are best if you are afraid of deep water or are not a good swimmer. You can also do these tours without swimming and just enjoy the beaches.

If you choose Tour A or Tour C, you will have to swim a lot, especially if you go to the Hidden Lagoon, the Secret  Beach, and the Hidden Beach. Even experienced swimmers sometimes find it difficult to get to Secret Beach, where you have to swim underwater through a narrow rock tunnel with a strong current.

No, we do not pick up from the islands (Miniloc, Matinloc, Cauayan, Pangalusian and Lagen). For those who stay on the islands, the meeting point is El Nido Beach.
