FULL DAY TOUR: PORT BARTON ISLAND HOPPING

You will be collected from your hotel and taken on a full day island hopping in Port Barton. This tour will take you to Fantastic Reef, Wide Reef, Lagoon Reef, German Island, Twin Reef and Starfish island.

Be amazed with the beauty of Fantastic Reef which is located near Double Island. Here, you will find green corals which serves as home to large varieties of fish and other marine life.

Visit the Wide Reef where you can see the very abundant marine life in Port Barton. This reef covers a wide area which explains its name. It has quite deep waters which makes watching the corals here more enjoyable than doing it in the twin reef.

Lagoon Reef is another highlight of this tour. Like the Fantastic Reef, Small Lagoon Reef is also located closely to Double island. However, unlike Fantastic Reef, this reef is more popular for its schools of fish and patches of corals.

You will also get the chance to visit the German Island which is privately owned island. Its name is derived from the fact that the island was rented by a German National for more than 20 years. The island is surrounded by beautiful sceneries that you will love. It has white sandy beaches and clear waters. It is perfect for beach lovers and for those who are scenery photography enthusiasts. This island also serves as home to sea turtles which are locally known as “pawikan”.

Also, visit the Twin Reef which is the most popular snorkeling site of Port Barton. The reef is 20 minutes away from the town proper and possesses an unexplainable beauty. The visibility is great due to the water’s unbelievable clarity and you can easily see the unending number of fishes swimming right in from of you. The water in this area is shallow which enables you to touch some of the corals underneath!

Lastly, the Starfish Island which is a sandbar close to Port Barton. It is a sandbar that get completely submerged into the sea during hightide. It is called Starfish Island due to the starfishes that you’ll see clustered in its waters.
