Cebu Pacific offers regular flights between El Nido and Coron using small, light aircraft. The flight takes less than an hour, making it the fastest and most convenient way to travel between the two islands.
However, because this route is very popular and only light planes can operate at the small local airports, seats are limited. We highly recommend booking your flight well in advance to secure your spot.
By Sea
Fast Ferry or Fast Crafts (Atienza and Jomalia) operate daily trips between El Nido and Coron, making the journey one of the most popular ways to travel between the two destinations. The fast ferries take around 4–5 hours and are the most convenient option for travellers who want to get from one destination to the other in a single day.
There are also RORO ferries that travel overnight between El Nido and Coron. These are considerably slower than the fast ferries and there is currently no fixed schedule and departures can vary.
Another option is to travel by expedition boat, turning the journey itself into part of your holiday. Expeditions usually include stops at Linapacan and other islands and are available as 2-day/1-night, 3-day/2-night or 4-day/3-night trips. These can be arranged on a shared or private basis.
As the El Nido–Coron route is particularly busy during the peak season (December and January), we strongly recommend booking your ferry or expedition in advance. Fast-ferry tickets can sell out quickly, while expedition departures have limited spaces.
